How AustraliaOS handles information
AustraliaOS Pty Ltd is an independent CLOUD Act and data sovereignty risk assessment practice based in Melbourne. The public website is a static information site. The notice below describes the limited information the site is involved in, and how to contact AustraliaOS about privacy matters.
The site collects only what any website visit generates: standard server and CDN request logs (IP address, timestamp, page requested, browser user agent), plus any information voluntarily included when someone emails AustraliaOS.
Request logs are processed by the hosting provider for normal operation and security. Email content is used to respond to the sender and to keep a business record of the exchange.
The site has no database, no user accounts, no login, no analytics or advertising trackers, and no forms that submit information to a server. Loading a page triggers no automatic third-party requests; all assets, including web fonts, are served by the site's own hosting.

Information handled
The information involved with the public website is limited to the following.
- Standard request logs. When any website is visited, the visitor's browser sends the server an IP address, a timestamp, the page requested, and a browser user agent. The hosting provider records these for normal operational and security purposes.
- Voluntary email content. When someone emails AustraliaOS, the message contains whatever the sender chose to include. That content is handled to reply and to keep a business record of the exchange.
How information is used

- operation and security of the website, by the hosting provider
- complying with legal and record-keeping requirements
Hosting and publication
The website is published using third-party infrastructure providers. Those providers receive and process the standard request data described above as a normal consequence of serving the site. AustraliaOS discloses its provider dependencies and their jurisdictions on the Sovereignty Posture section of the homepage.
Web fonts
Web fonts on this site are self-hosted and served directly from australiaos.com.au. Loading a page does not cause any request to a third-party font service, and no third-party font provider receives the visitor's IP address or browser user agent.
Cross-border processing
Some of the providers above may process the technical data described in this notice outside Australia. AustraliaOS treats that exposure as a disclosed dependency, named openly on the public website rather than left implicit.
Disclosure of information
AustraliaOS may disclose information to the third-party providers described above for the purposes described above, where required by law, or where reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the website.
Retention
Request logs are retained by the hosting provider according to that provider's standard operational settings. Email correspondence is retained for as long as reasonably needed to respond, to maintain a business record, and to meet record-keeping requirements.
Access, correction, and deletion
People may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information AustraliaOS holds about them by emailing brunel@australiaos.com.au. Requests are handled subject to legal and record-keeping requirements.
Children
AustraliaOS is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect information from children.
